Description
The Fire Centurion (FC-CHS) has been engineered to provide a deaf or hard of hearing person with a reliable means of waking up during a fire in the home. A bedside alarm with flashing light and vibrating pillow shaker receives alarm signals from a smoke detector when smoke is detected in the home. No wiring from the smoke detector to the bedside alarm. Mains powered with battery backup.

The bedside alarm has a flashing xenon strobe and powerful vibrating pillow shaker that is switched on when an alarm signal is received by either smoke detector.

The FC-CHS has circuitry that detects fire alarm claxons, such as those used in hotels. Built in sensors detect operation of a commercial fire alarm sounder. After the sound pattern has been validated as a fire alarm sounder, the attached vibrating pad and xenon flashing light operate until the unit is reset by pressing the alarm cancel button.

The FC-CHS alarm has a relay output socket and an auxiliary power output that can be used to operate radio paging equipment, telephone auto dalliers or connection to other emergency alarms. A socket is also provided for use with a Shake Awake vibrating alarm clock. Simple plug in and use setup.
